Terminal B

The nautilus shell geometry of Terminal B translates into 189,300 square feet of custom aluminium facade — spiraling toward the ocean as though formed by nature, not built by hand. We handled the full scope: design, fabrication, and installation, from the first engineering drawing to the final panel. The result is the world's first LEED Gold v4 certified cruise terminal, and the 2021 Project of the Year.

Alphacladding is a fully integrated curtain wall company. Design-assist, stamped shop drawings, in-house fabrication, and Iron Workers installation — all under one contract. The quality of every project is handled and approved by the founders at every stage. One number to call. One team that owns the full scope from drawing to installed system.

Curtain Wall Systems

Unitized and stick-built systems for commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects. Our shop drawings come in clean the first time. Our crews are on schedule. We don't generate RFIs — we close them.

Window Wall Systems

Designed and engineered in-house to Miami-Dade NOA and Florida Building Code impact standards. Fabricated to tolerance. Installed by our own crew. You get one number to call if anything needs to move.

Custom Facade Fabrication

Complex aluminium panel systems and custom cladding fabricated in-house, QC'd before they leave the shop. When components arrive on site, they fit. The field crew isn't troubleshooting at elevation.

Design-Build Delivery

Single-source accountability. One contract covers engineering, fabrication, and installation. If something doesn't fit, there's no pointing between subs — we own the whole scope and we fix it.

Facade Restoration & Recladding

Envelope assessment and re-skinning for existing structures. We apply the same engineering rigor as new construction — because a building that's already occupied can't afford field surprises.

Engineering & Consulting

Envelope engineering, peer review, and value engineering available as a standalone engagement. Architects use us for design-assist early. GCs use us when a facade scope needs someone who's actually built it before.

Design-Assist

We embed with your design team early. Our engineers review schematic drawings, identify constructability issues, and propose facade solutions before shop drawings begin — saving time and cost downstream.

Shop Drawings

Our in-house engineering team produces stamped, permit-ready shop drawings. Every anchor location, thermal break, and sealant joint is engineered to Miami-Dade NOA and FL Building Code standards.

03

Fabrication

Custom aluminium panels, curtain wall units, and specialty cladding components — fabricated to tight tolerances. Quality-controlled before they ever leave the shop. No surprises in the field.

Installation & QC

Iron Workers Local 272 crews, supervised directly by Mike DeHarde with 40 years in facade installation. Every panel is checked against shop drawings. Every seal is tested. No punch-list surprises at handover.

Forty years in curtain wall facade work — not in an office, on the structure. Mike is an active Iron Workers LU 272 member and the direct supervisor of every installation crew. His brother Stephen DeHarde serves as superintendent on-site. The DeHardes don't manage from a distance; they're in the field alongside the crew.

Civil Engineering degree with 30 years in construction, 21 of them in facade design and engineering. Roberto is the technical spine of every project — structural calculations, aluminium system specifications, and the engineering drawings that make complex geometry buildable. He, Juan, and Mike worked together for 25 years before founding the firm.
