"The Crown of Miami"
From The Pearl of Miami to The Crown of Miami — Alphacladding designs, fabricates, and installs curtain wall systems that become landmarks. Every project, owner-supervised from first drawing to final seal.
From cruise terminals to five-star hospitality to healthcare infrastructure — Alphacladding builds the facade systems behind Miami's most recognizable buildings.
Alphacladding is a fully integrated curtain wall company. Design-assist, stamped shop drawings, in-house fabrication, and Iron Workers installation — all under one contract. The quality of every project is handled and approved by the founders at every stage. One number to call. One team that owns the full scope from drawing to installed system.
Unitized and stick-built systems for commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects. Our shop drawings come in clean the first time. Our crews are on schedule. We don't generate RFIs — we close them.
Designed and engineered in-house to Miami-Dade NOA and Florida Building Code impact standards. Fabricated to tolerance. Installed by our own crew. You get one number to call if anything needs to move.
Complex aluminium panel systems and custom cladding fabricated in-house, QC'd before they leave the shop. When components arrive on site, they fit. The field crew isn't troubleshooting at elevation.
Single-source accountability. One contract covers engineering, fabrication, and installation. If something doesn't fit, there's no pointing between subs — we own the whole scope and we fix it.
Envelope assessment and re-skinning for existing structures. We apply the same engineering rigor as new construction — because a building that's already occupied can't afford field surprises.
Envelope engineering, peer review, and value engineering available as a standalone engagement. Architects use us for design-assist early. GCs use us when a facade scope needs someone who's actually built it before.
We embed with your design team early. Our engineers review schematic drawings, identify constructability issues, and propose facade solutions before shop drawings begin — saving time and cost downstream.
Our in-house engineering team produces stamped, permit-ready shop drawings. Every anchor location, thermal break, and sealant joint is engineered to Miami-Dade NOA and FL Building Code standards.
Custom aluminium panels, curtain wall units, and specialty cladding components — fabricated to tight tolerances. Quality-controlled before they ever leave the shop. No surprises in the field.
Iron Workers Local 272 crews, supervised directly by Mike DeHarde with 40 years in facade installation. Every panel is checked against shop drawings. Every seal is tested. No punch-list surprises at handover.

We built this firm the same way we build facades: as a family, united around the goal of creating awe-inspiring work. Every project has a founding partner on it — not a PM managing six other jobs. When a decision has to be made at elevation, the people who built The Pearl of Miami make it.
Certified General Contractor with a Bachelor's in Architecture and 32 years in the field — 22 of them working exclusively on curtain wall and window wall systems. Juan oversees business operations and works hand in hand with architects from project inception, making sure the design intent survives all the way to the installed facade.
Forty years in curtain wall facade work — not in an office, on the structure. Mike is an active Iron Workers LU 272 member and the direct supervisor of every installation crew. His brother Stephen DeHarde serves as superintendent on-site. The DeHardes don't manage from a distance; they're in the field alongside the crew.
Civil Engineering degree with 30 years in construction, 21 of them in facade design and engineering. Roberto is the technical spine of every project — structural calculations, aluminium system specifications, and the engineering drawings that make complex geometry buildable. He, Juan, and Mike worked together for 25 years before founding the firm.
Awarded by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental & Reinforcing Iron Workers for the Norwegian Cruise Line Terminal B project. Recognized in the highest category: above 5,000 work-hours.
Glass Magazine's annual ranking of the nation's top glazing contractors. Alphacladding was one of 15 newly added companies to the 2022 list — recognition reserved for firms demonstrating sustained excellence in facade work at scale.
The Norwegian Cruise Line Terminal B — delivered by Alphacladding — achieved LEED Gold v4 certification, making it the first cruise terminal in the world to reach this standard. Sustainable design at $100M+ scale.
Alphacladding built "The Pearl of Miami" — a $100M cruise terminal that won Project of the Year and landed the firm in Glass Magazine's Top 50 U.S. Glaziers. Three partners. Twenty-five years together. Over 100 combined years in the trade. None of that appears on the current website.
A developer or GC who searches before calling sees a generic template with no portfolio, no credentials, and no proof of any of it. They move on. That's not a website problem — it's the work not getting the recognition it's earned.
"A developer seeing that website before hearing the name Alphacladding would never guess this company built The Pearl of Miami."
Let's Fix ThatWhether you're a GC assembling a bid package, a developer spec'ing a tower skin, or an architect working through facade geometry that has to actually be buildable — call us early. We work hand in hand with the design team from the start, not after the drawings are done. A partner picks up. Not a sales coordinator.
